Parallel Keys

Belting Online’s range of Parallel Keys (Feather Keys) are engineered to securely fasten pulleys, sprockets, and gears to rotating shafts, also serving as a failsafe to provide economical and additional protection for more expensive and critical components.

Due to their protective role, it is important to replace them periodically.

Parallel Keys require a keyway for installation, which can be easily requested when ordering Driveflex pulleys, gears, and sprockets. They can also be seamlessly combined with the Driveflex range of Taper Lock Bushes. In addition to cutting keyways, our Special Manufacturing department can custom manufacture or rework Parallel Keys to meet specific requirements.

Metric Parallel Keys to DIN 6585A/B/AB are available with square and/or radius ends and are made from Steel C45 (EN8).
