The AT profile, an advanced version of the trapezoidal T profile, is popular in modern power drives. It features the widest teeth, offering the highest tooth shear resistance and specific tooth force among trapezoidal profiles. The minimal tooth deformation, strong cords, and low backlash ensure high positioning accuracy under load. The AT tooth rests on the tooth root of the pulley, reducing wear and increasing load-bearing capacity in conveyor drives by minimising surface pressure.
