How to identify your PU Timing Belt

Synchroflex®, Breco®/Brecoflex® and Conti® 8M & 14M PU timing belts all have a groove between the teeth. Count eleven grooves and accurately measure the distance between the first and last groove then divide the measurement by ten. This will give you the pitch of the belt in mm. Next using a vernier or digital calliper measure the thickness of the belt. Common combinations are in the table below.
